In the centre of Como, Antonio creates a specialized workshop. He continues with the restoration of timepieces for the noble families of Milan, but his passion for collecting (from paintings to sculptures, from timepieces to particular objects) stimulates his creative talent and leads him to create original artistic timepieces.

At the International Handicrafts Fair in Florence, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Crafts awards "Clessidra" with the gold medal.

“Clessidra” exhibits its timepieces at the international jewellery show in Paris, which at that time reserved a special space for all products of superior craftmanship value. Here, thanks to the knowledge and collaboration with a Swiss company, “Clessidra” is introduced to the world of Swiss clockmaking.

In that same period, in Basel, the organization of the Swiss clockmaking fair decide to invite international companies to participate in that event, until then reserved only for the domestic market. The company starts working on the creation of the first carriage clock with the dream of exhibiting it in that fair.
